鹿を探して三千里。そこは思った以上の桃源郷！

世界最小の鹿「プーズー」を見に行きたくて、スコットランドに向かったわけですが、うん、そこは鹿なのでやはり愛想なしです。シカたがない。



プーズーはEdinburgh Zooにいます。ここの動物園、結構面白い。そして、のんびりするのにちょうどいい。

ワラビーの放し飼いコーナーに、人間がおじゃまできるコーナーなんてものありました。写真は理想図。現実にはワラビー、厳戒体制。

隣のカンガルーは柵付きで笑った。攻撃力違うもんね。

さて、さらなる鹿ネタ。

Highland Safariという場所に「鹿センター」なるRed Deer Centreがあるそうで。草原で餌やりもできるんですって、これはぜひやってみたい。奈良でもできるけど…

だいぶ遠くて訪問叶わず。必ずやリベンジする…！！

鹿モチーフや鹿グッズをあげると枚挙にいとまがなく、物欲が爆発しそうなのを抑えるのに必死ですよ。

ここをイギリスの鹿パラダイスと言わずして、なんと言いましょう。

しかし、スコットランドの実力は鹿だけにあらず。見よこのイケメン牛を！ハイランドキャトル。



なにこの前髪。おかんが見たら早く切れって言いそうなやつ。なんかセクシー。でも見た目に反して、すごく穏やか。

子牛はぬいぐるみのよう！きゃわいい！

この牛たちは、鹿公園ならぬ「Pollok Park」という、牛公園的なところにいます。

ひたすら牛を撫でると、全てどうでも良くなる。ああこの感じ、奈良公園。結局そこかい。

スコットランドは動物天国なのでした。うん、また絶対行く。
